My first trip to Europe—magical, but rushed. Started in Amsterdam, then Antwerp where I briefly met a friend and old bandmate before continuing to Bruges. Then Paris for the first time.
I tried to cram too many things into too short a time, always thinking about the next destination instead of really soaking in where I was. I was nervous, being in countries where I didn't speak the language. Classic mistake of trying to check boxes rather than actually experiencing places. This trip taught me a lot about how I wanted to travel going forward—more intentional, more present, less frantic. Sometimes the best lesson from a trip is learning how to take the next one better.
