Went to France for a very good friend's wedding in La Flèche. After the celebration, we explored a few châteaux in the area before starting a road trip through Normandy with also good old friends from Alberta—which made it extra special.
The drive took us to some incredible places: the magnificent Mont Saint-Michel rising from the tidal flats, the dramatic white cliffs of Étretat, the historic streets of Rouen, and a stop at Versailles with its overwhelming opulence. Started and ended the journey in Paris where I've been before, but the real magic was in the countryside and coast, sharing it all with good friends.
